I went to Secret Recipe at Palm Square, Center Point to meet with my secondary best friends, Maysilina, Atika or Tiki and Ninapreet. We haven't meet for more than 2 years and we were gathering on 3 January 2010. I did not expect my friends will remember my birthday because they did not mention anythings on the phone. My mom asked me to bring my daddy along because she does not want me to drive alone in Kota Kinabalu. My mom though I already forgot the way to Center Point due to I just came back from Terengganu. As you know, I was working in Terengganu for almost 2 years.
I was parking my car in Segama near the Wisma Merdeka and my daddy went to my uncle's shop in Wisma Merdeka. Atika already called me many times and she was chasing me to come faster. How to be faster if I am walking to Center Point? Oh, my God. I took 15 minutes to arrive in Secret Recipe Restaurant with my tired face. I saw my friends were sitting near the window and they all looking at me with a big smile. I feel very sorry due to my late.
My friends ordered me a slice of Durian Cheese cake and they sang a birthday song for me. Everyone in the restaurant was looking at us that make me feel embarrassing and happy. I am very grateful to have those friends like them. I give my friends to try the cake but I forgot that Nina does not like the taste of durian and I really sorry about that. We had chit-chatting about our life, study, work and next gathering.
After that, Atika and I went to Games World to play the basketball and drum music while Nina and May went to shopping. Atika taught me how to play the drum music but I really really very dumb about that game. Nina and May met with us around 4.00pm and we decided to watch a movie - Sherlock Homes. The movie quite boring because the story not so interesting. Moreover, the ending of the movie was shuck.
Finally, we had finished watching the movie around 6.00pm. Four of guys very disappointed with the film. Suddenly, Nina pass to me a bag plastic and inside got a penguin doll with a birthday card. I was the first one to go back home because I were scared my daddy will get angry on me. So, i walk again to Segama and find my daddy. Thank you, my friends for the surprise that they had made.
